Doug and Marty's Boarhouse or Chesterfields, as it was previously known, is a 24 hour bar and restaurant located in central Moscow, reputed to be one of the busiest in Moscow. The bar was opened by Canadian Doug Steele and his partner Marty. Doug was previously the owner of the well known night club in Moscow, The Hungry Duck. Doug now claims to be the sole owner of the bar, however it is likely that he would have a Russian partner or partners. He is also part-owner of the Hard Rock Cafe in Moscow.
It is a popular place for Moscow expats and visiting foreigners. Foreigners are attracted by the low priced alcohol as well as the showing of major sporting events. However one of the other reasons for its popularity is due to Russian prostitutes.
